Title : Goblin
Original Size : 400 x 320
Medium : Chalk, Pen & Pencil
When I ran an musical instrument shop in London we created an album of tunes from the various members of staff, past and present.
The owner asked me to design an album cover the night before press. I chose to work upon and image inspired by the sculptor David Goode called Isabel's Goblin (seeing that the shop name involved the word 'goblin') using dots from a pen, and pastel smudges.
I stayed up All night to finish it only to find out that the owner had decided upon a previous design out of fear that I wouldn't be able to deliver! (I know..).
The image did end up as a small part of the cover in the end, so it wasn't a total waste of time. And it Was fun to do.
